Softball Game Preview: Lincolnton Wolves vs. West Caldwell Warriors

Lincolnton is 1-9 against West Caldwell since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wolves will square off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Lincolnton has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lincolnton lost 12-3 to Bandys on Tuesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Lincoln typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday West Caldwell proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Knights, sneaking past 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Lincolnton's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for West Caldwell, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.

Lincolnton might still be hurting after the 13-2 defeat they got from West Caldwell when the teams last played back in March. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
