Conway Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past the Hazen Hornets with a 24-20 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 15 games in a row dating back to last season.

Conway Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Atkins at 7:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Hazen, they will square off against Des Arc at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
