Eastern View has gone a perfect 10-0 against Culpeper County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cyclones will challenge the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Eastern View is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 14 games.
Eastern View barely beat Courtland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cyclones put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 14-4 win on Thursday. Considering the Cyclones have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Cailin Rendell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tenley Rendell, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Caelie Culbertson, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two doubles and two RBI.
Eastern View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.4.
Culpeper County came out on top against Albemarle on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Blue Devils took their contest against the Patriots 8-3. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won seven in a row.
Eastern View's record now sits at 16-1. As for Culpeper County, their record is now 11-9.
Eastern View was able to grind out a solid win over Culpeper County in their previous matchup back in March, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cyclones since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
