Baseball Game Preview: Spring Hill Panthers vs. North Lamar Panthers

Spring Hill will venture away from home to take on North Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Spring Hill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Athens get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Meanwhile, North Lamar made easy work of Farmersville on Saturday and carried off a 21-0 victory. That 21-run margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Spring Hill's win bumped their record up to 20-7-2. As for North Lamar, their victory bumped their record up to 18-11-1.

Spring Hill skirted past North Lamar 10-9 in their previous matchup back in May of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for Spring Hill since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
