Greenwich strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Stamford Black Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Black Knights, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Greenwich took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-14.

Kayah Armstrong paced Greenwich's offense, picking up 12 kills. Armstrong got some help from Victoria Sullivan and her 31 assists.

Greenwich's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Stamford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Greenwich wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Ridgefield on the 13th. As for Stamford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ludlowe on the 13th.
