The Red Bay Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Russellville Golden Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Red Bay is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Red Bay challenged Colbert Heights on Monday. Red Bay put the hurt on Colbert Heights with a sharp 14-2 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Ty Reynolds was a standout: he fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most home runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jeramiah Thorne was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Reynolds wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Red Bay kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Deshler typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Russellville proved too difficult a challenge. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 9-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Tigers.

Brennon Thorpe was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ty Willis, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Russellville's record now sits at 9-4. As for Red Bay, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-3.
