Volleyball Recap: Wonewoc-Center's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Wonewoc-Center unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Randolph Rockets by a score of 2-1.

Heidi Baker paced Wonewoc-Center's offense, picking up six kills. Baker got some help from Bella LeMoine and her nine assists. LeMoine was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Wonewoc-Center's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Randolph, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Wonewoc-Center will square off against Royall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Randolph, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Rio at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
