Basketball Game Preview: Norwalk Lancers vs. Bellflower Buccaneers

Norwalk has won three straight games at home, while Bellflower has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Norwalk Lancers will host the Bellflower Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Norwalk is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Downey just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 56-49 to the Vikings.

Meanwhile, after a string of 11 wins, Bellflower's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Warren 59-53. While the Buccaneers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 22-11 in the first quarter.

Bellflower's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 17-8. As for Norwalk, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.
