Basketball Game Recap: Conway vs. Northside

On Tuesday, the Conway Wampus Cats faced the Northside Grizzlies in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Conway was able to grind out a solid victory over Northside, winning 56-48. For the Wampus Cats, this is just revenge for the 54-51 defeat they suffered against Northside the last time they faced one another in January 21st.

The win makes it two in a row for Conway and bumps their record up to 17-6. This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their record down to 17-8.

Conway will square off against Central Friday. Conway won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. Northside will take on North Little Rock Friday at home. North Little Rock has averaged 83.75 points over the course of their past four games, so Northside might be in for a challenge.
