Baseball Game Preview: Holy Name Green Wave vs. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals

The Holy Name Green Wave will face off against the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Holy Name, who comes in off a win.

Holy Name is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since April 30, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over Midview. The Green Wave's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Brendon Preisel was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he hit this season.
