Basketball Recap: Forest Park Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Forest Park won the last time they faced North Dickinson and things went their way on Monday too. The Forest Park Trojans came out on top against the North Dickinson Nordics by a score of 69-58. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Nordics are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Forest Park pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for North Dickinson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-5-1 record.

Forest Park will face off against Superior Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
