Gilead Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Crestline Bulldogs 31-28. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 49-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Hill, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave Hill a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Noblit, who put up ten points.

Gilead Christian pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for Crestline, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Gilead Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crestline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 27-15 loss against Ridgemont on the 13th.
