Meanwhile, Fort Osage hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Fort Osage came out on top in a nail-biter against Central, sneaking past 68-65. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fort Osage.

Kansas City East Christian Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Fort Osage, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-8.
