Soccer Game Preview: Kentwood vs. Mt. Rainier

The Kentwood Conquerors will square off against the Mt. Rainier Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kentwood's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Kentwood fell victim to Auburn and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Kentwood have lost by just one goal.

While Mt. Rainier's fans didn't get a definitive result on Friday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. They and Stadium finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Mt. Rainier have been dealt a draw since back in April.

Kentwood's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10-6. Mt. Rainier's draw gives them a new season record of 7-3-4.
