Volleyball Recap: White Knoll Takes a Loss

After flying high against Airport on Tuesday, White Knoll came back down to earth. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Spring Valley Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost eight in a row.

White Knoll took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-11, 17-25, 25-9, 15-10.

White Knoll now has a losing record of 1-2-2. As for Spring Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Knoll will take on Chapman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spring Valley, they will challenge Sumter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
