With a playoff win on the line, Foothill rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  63-36 victory over the Rancho Rams. 63 seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  points in their previous game.
Foothill's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Stephanie Ezugha, who  dropped  a double-double with 13  points and 17  boards. Ezugha has been hot recently, having  posted 13 or more  rebounds the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shiloh Smith, who  posted ten points and eight  steals.
 Foothill  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 21  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in four consecutive  matchups.
 When it comes to explaining why Rancho lost, don't look at  Taylor Dagons. Despite the final result, she  dropped  a double-double with 23  points and 12  boards. That was a full 63.9% of Rancho's points, marking the seventh time in a row  Dagons has  put up  more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Claudia Vargas-Arellano, who  scored four points along with six  rebounds and four  steals.
Foothill's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-12. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.3 points. As for Rancho, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
 Foothill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  53-50  win against Somerset Academy Losee on the 13th. Rancho does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
