Meanwhile, Campbell County faced Sheridan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Camels lost to the Broncs at home by a 28-10 margin. The Camels have struggled against the Broncs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

East's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Campbell County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.
