While Kearns might've come up empty on Thursday, Maliyah Solomon wasn't going down without a fight. Solomon scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The performance marked the most runs she has had since back in April of 2024.

Solomon and Kearns will be playing at home against Cyprus at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Kearns hasn't beaten Cyprus recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2021.
