Volleyball Recap: Stern Has No Trouble Against Rise Kohyang

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central City Value, Stern was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Rise Kohyang Tritons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Stern was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-5, 25-11.

The win got Stern back to even at 1-1. As for Rise Kohyang, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stern will face off against rival Smidt Tech at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rise Kohyang is set to challenge their familiar foe Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
