Basketball Game Preview: Bowdon Red Devils vs. Bremen Blue Devils

Bowdon is 9-1 against Bremen since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Red Devils just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. Bowdon will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

On Friday, Bowdon really took it to Trion for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-23 victory. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Timothy Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 boards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cace Carroll, who posted ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Bremen was beaten by Model 83-41 on Tuesday. Bremen has struggled against Model recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Bowdon's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Bremen, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Bowdon came up short against Bremen in their previous meeting back in December of 2025, falling 63-57. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
