Volleyball Recap: Mountain Area Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Mountain Area Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lighthouse Christian.

While Mountain Area Christian Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Mountain Area Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lighthouse Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Mountain Area Christian Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Dogwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will take on Colquitt Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
