Soccer Recap: Newton Local Takes a Loss

Newton Local lost against Preble Shawnee back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Arrows by a score of 1-0.

Newton Local's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Preble Shawnee, the win got them back to even at 5-5-2.

Coming up, Newton Local will challenge Valley View at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Preble Shawnee, they will square off against Twin Valley South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Preble Shawnee will be up against Twin Valley South's rather soft defense (which has allowed seven goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
