The Kennedy Thunderbirds fell just short of the Taft Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Haley Jimenez was a one-man wrecking crew for Taft as she had 14 digs and two aces.
Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Taft, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-12-4 record.
Kennedy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Dinuba at 6:30 p.m. As for Taft, they will face off against Shafter at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Shafter is coming into the contest with seven straight victories at home, so Taft will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
