After low-scoring totals in their previous six match, Highland brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Louisiana Bulldogs on Monday. The Cougars' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Highland's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Louisiana, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
