Softball Game Preview: Calvary Chapel Eagles vs. Katella Knights

For the second straight game, Calvary Chapel will face off against Katella. The Eagles will square off against the Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Calvary Chapel is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Calvary Chapel took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 12-7 win over Katella. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the game before.

Calvary Chapel let Bella Bos and Jacqueline Brito run wild. Bos got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one double, while Brito went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Brito's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Woods, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

With the victory, Calvary Chapel broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-15. As for Katella, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
