Volleyball Game Preview: Anderson Indians vs. Greenfield-Central Cougars

Anderson is 0-6 against Greenfield-Central since September of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Indians will host the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Anderson's tournament run continued when they took on DeKalb on Saturday. The Indians fell just short of the Barons by a score of 2-1.

Anderson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-11, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Greenfield-Central came up short against Guerin Catholic on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered against the Golden Eagles since October 1, 2022.

While Greenfield-Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-12.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Greenfield-Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
