Indian Creek never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Martins Ferry Purple Riders by a score of 4-0. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Purple Riders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Sal Barcalow, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Martins Ferry off the board. Barcalow has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ty Householder, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Hunter Rusnak was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Indian Creek's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Martins Ferry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will venture away from home to face off against Steubenville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Martins Ferry, they will head out to take on East Liverpool at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
