Charlotte Supino made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Toms River North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to Barnegat. Considering the last time the Mariners couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

The win got Toms River South back to even at 7-7. As for Toms River North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
