Softball Recap: California City Ravens vs. Kern Valley Broncs
California City stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past the Kern Valley Broncs 11-1. The win was nothing new for California City as they're now sitting on 13 straight.
Lorina Rodarte was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, two triples, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Makayla Haggins, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.
California City pushed their record up to 20-4 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Kern Valley, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.
