Volleyball Recap: Lick-Wilmerding Gets the Win

While Lick-Wilmerding didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out the Dublin Gaels 2-1 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Dublin's loss came despite strong showings from Krisha Patel and Leah Huey. Patel had seven digs and one assist, while Huey had five digs.

Lick-Wilmerding's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Dublin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Lick-Wilmerding has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Bishop O'Dowd on the 6th. As for Dublin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Arroyo on the 6th.
