Basketball Recap: Big Horn Takes a Loss

Big Horn was the 49-45 winner over Sundance when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Horn Rams took a 39-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sundance Bulldogs on Friday.

Jaylin Mills was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 12 boards for Sundance. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mills has scored at least a third of Sundance's points. Another player making a difference was Hailey Karol, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Big Horn now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Sundance, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Big Horn has already played their next game, a 54-35 victory against Moorcroft on the 15th. As for Sundance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-40 win against Wright on the 15th.
