Football Game Recap: Hillwood vs. Cheatham County Central

After having lost a blowout to Gallatin in their previous game, Hillwood were happy to find some success on Friday. Hillwood took down Cheatham County Central 38-20. Cheatham County Central can consider this payback for the 0-40 loss they dealt Hillwood the last time the teams encountered one another.

Hillwood started the match off right with 20 first-half points. Cheatham County Central came up with 7 to make it 20-7 heading into the break. The offense for Hillwood continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 18 points to put the game away. The win bumped their record up to 2-4. The defeat dropped Cheatham County Central's record to 2-4.

Hillwood will look to defend their home turf next week against Glencliff at 7:00 PM. Hillwood will be strutting in after a victory while Glencliff will be stumbling in from a defeat. Cheatham County Central will stay at home against Camden Central at 7:30 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
