Basketball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 74-50 to the Newton Rams. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Rams are ranked 23rd).

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Newton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Heritage will face off against Rockdale County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newton, they will challenge North Mecklenburg at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
