Basketball Game Preview: Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros vs. Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars

The Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros are taking a road trip to challenge the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Hillsboro/Central Valley came up short against Grafton and fell 48-41. The H-CV Burros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Griggs County Central/Midkota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Hatton/Northwood.

Griggs County Central/Midkota's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Hillsboro/Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Hillsboro/Central Valley strolled past Griggs County Central/Midkota when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 55-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hillsboro/Central Valley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
