Edmond Memorial faced Deer Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Antlers. Edmond Memorial's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Edmond Memorial's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Deer Creek, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
