Softball Recap: Ruston Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against D'Arbonne Woods, Ruston was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-15 victory over the Lakeside Warriors. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bearcats considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Ruston now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lakeside, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

When Ruston and Lakeside next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ruston will take on Alexandria and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ruston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season. Similarly, Lakeside will try to stop Cedar Creek's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
