West Geauga is 8-0-2 against Geneva since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Wolverines will challenge the Eagles at 2:00 p.m.

West Geauga is headed into Saturday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Hathaway Brown. That's two games in a row now that West Geauga have lost by just one goal.

Adison Cook and Faelynn Beckrest scored all three of West Geauga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Geneva was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Perry finished up their match with a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Geneva's record moves to 6-5-3. As for West Geauga, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Everything went West Geauga's way against Geneva in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, as West Geauga made off with a 9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
