Baseball Preview: Cashmere Bulldogs vs. College Place Hawks
The Cashmere Bulldogs will square off against the College Place Hawks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
While Cashmere's victory against Chelan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Cashmere skirted past Chelan 8-6. The win was just business as usual for the Bulldogs, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Mac Carlson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
