Volleyball Recap: Princeton Vikings vs. Middletown Middies

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Middletown Middies. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Middies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Princeton took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16, 15-7.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Middletown, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, Princeton will be playing at home against Mt. Healthy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middletown, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wayne on the 30th.
