Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Kentwood + How To Watch

Kentwood took a 28-point loss the last time they faced off against Tahoma, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Conquerors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-24 victory over the Bears on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Conquerors, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Darian Williams had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 74 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. Marquise Jones was another key player, rushing for 143 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kentwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 336 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Tahoma saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brady Bonnell rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Kentwood's record is now 6-2. As for Tahoma, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.
