Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Lake Charles College Prep finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against Oakdale, falling 11-1. The Trailblazers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lake Charles College Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Bernard, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lake Charles College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Jennings, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
