Football Recap: Joliet West Comes Up Short

Joliet West fell victim to Oswego East and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a blow against the Wolves, falling 33-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since September 30, 2024.

Joliet West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Oswego East, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Joliet West is set to challenge their familiar foe Bolingbrook at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 13.7, the Raiders 11.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Oswego East will take on rival Plainfield Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
