Soccer Game Preview: Kewanee vs. Quincy Notre Dame

The Kewanee Boilermakers will head out on the road to challenge the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Quincy Notre Dame took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Kewanee, who comes in off a win.

While Kewanee's win against Canton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Boilermakers skirted past the Little Giants 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for Kewanee as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Quincy Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Quincy. That's two games in a row now that Quincy Notre Dame have lost by just one goal.

Kewanee's win bumped their record up to 10-13-2. As for Quincy Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15-3.
