Volleyball Recap: Martin's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Martin can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Gregory-Portland Wildcats 2-1. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Martin's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Gregory-Portland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Martin and Gregory-Portland will both be playing Brandeis the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Broncos at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
