Volleyball Game Preview: Alta Hawks vs. Maple Mountain Golden Eagles

The Alta Hawks will challenge the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Alta comes in on five and Maple Mountain on ten.

Alta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Viewmont.

Meanwhile, Maple Mountain faced Salem Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Alta's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Maple Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 27-1.

Alta came up short against Maple Mountain when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
