Basketball Game Preview: St. Paul's Crusaders vs. Friends Quakers

The St. Paul's Crusaders will square off against the Friends Quakers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Friends will be up against a hot St. Paul's squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. St. Paul's came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-50 W against St. John's Catholic Prep.

Meanwhile, Friends hadn't done well against Chapelgate Christian Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Friends snuck past Chapelgate Christian Academy with a 61-56 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Quakers.

St. Paul's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Friends, their win bumped their record up to 6-17.

Everything came up roses for St. Paul's against Friends in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 46-18 victory. Will St. Paul's repeat their success, or does Friends have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
