Football Recap: Northland Triumphs

Northland's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 17-12 victory over the KIPP Columbus Jaguars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Although KIPP Columbus took the loss, they still got scores from Jaysen Quartey and Dushun Bosley.

Northland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for KIPP Columbus, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northland will venture away from home to face off against Whitehall-Yearling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for KIPP Columbus, they will head out to challenge Franklin Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
