Volleyball Recap: Alameda Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Alameda can now relate to. They came up short against the Mullen Mustangs on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Alameda's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mullen, they moved to 7-17 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Alameda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mullen, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Severance on the 3rd.
