Softball Recap: Cocoa Beach Comes Up Short

Cocoa Beach lost against Satellite back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Minutemen came up short against the Scorpions, falling 13-4. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cocoa Beach saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Deese, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Naomi Knight also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Satellite, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cocoa Beach will venture away from home to take on Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Satellite, they will square off against Foundation Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
