Softball Recap: Bethel-Tate Tigers vs. Williamsburg Wildcats
Bethel-Tate hadn't done well against Williamsburg recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tigers blew past the Wildcats 13-5. Considering the Tigers have won five games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaylee Randolph spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, Kenzie Gillen was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five runs, and three RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ally Thompson, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Bethel-Tate's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Williamsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-3 record this season.
